With still 14 weeks to go, I am starting to feel a little anxious about baby coming. For those that don't know, I still don't know if we are having a boy or a girl. My husband found out at our 18 week ultrasound and still has not let it slip! I feel really unprepared. Last week I started washing baby clothes. If this baby is a girl we should be ok at least for the first few months. I'm pretty sure we will end up needing to buy some more winter/warm clothes but we have a good start. If we are having a boy, we are in trouble. While grabbing boxes I noticed that two of the boxes were wet and moldy. We have no idea where the water came from but my guess would be from the hard rains we had a few weeks ago must have leaked into our unfinished basement somehow and only managed to soak 2 boxes. Those two boxes contained most of my baby boy newborn-6 month clothes. Out of desperation I washed and dried the two boxes but in the end, the fact that for who knows how long they sat in mold, really bothered me and we ended up throwing them away.
Today I finished folding and organizing the clothes we did wash but putting them in plastic tubs by size. Now let me tell you I am the first one to run to the dollar store for the shoe sized plastic tubs but I'm begging you if you get this idea don't even go there. The lids are awful and do not stay on. To add to that, Target has them for like 88 cents. Last week I grabbed 15 and I need to go back for a few more! Anyways, check out my progress below. I am so exhausted that after work tonight I'm pretty sure I'm going to come home and crash!

| This picture almost made me cry. All of the clothes too stained to reuse. This was back when I was a newbie parent and didn't mind buying white clothes. Let's just say with #2 I learned real quick and with this baby I know better as well! |
