Sticker Organization

Today's blog post is all about how I keep my stickers organized. When I first started scrapbooking I used 8 1/2x11 sized binders and page protectors to store my stickers. The problem I found with that is the stickers were skinnier than the page protectors so the pages would get bulky in the middle and the stickers would slide around. Then I though just throwing them into clear bins was a better idea. Clearly it was not. Fast forward to my current solution. Now I wish I could say that I came up with this idea but I did not. Not sure exactly where I first saw the idea, I'm sure someone I watch or follow on YouTube. I use the same system I started with but with smaller binders and page protectors.
The mini binders were $3 each in the Target Dollar Spot. You can find them in the office section at Target and Wal-mart but you are going to pay at least $5 if not more. The page protectors I found at Target. I think you get around 15 for $3.99. I can fit 2 binders in the pink crate which I'm pretty sure I got at Wal-mart (I've had it for a while) and maybe paid around $3 for it. I know myself enough to know I wouldn't have paid more for it.
Here are the two binders I use more frequently. The one on the right has my functional stickers and occasions that I would use most often like birthdays and family related stickers. The binder on the left holds my holiday and seasonal stickers.
Here's a look at some of my functional stickers. The ones on the right are from Oh Hello Stationary Co. If you have never purchased stickers or planner related items from them I demand to go now. Kayla and Alex are such fantastic people and their stickers are to die for! You can find their website here.

Here is a look at the first page in my seasonal binder. I have most of the pages labeled by months or occasions.
Here I have my school stickers on their own rather than labeled by month but I keep them after the summer stickers. I guess I could go back and label it as August since that's when school usually starts for our kiddos here.

Now for stickers that are too big for my little binder I will cut them down if it is easy to do so. If not I keep them in a mail/paper organizer. Not sure what the official name is but I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.

I really like how keeping my stickers organized this way let me find what I am looking for quickly and in theory limits how many stickers I can hoard because only so many stickers will fit in each page/the whole binder. I do have another pink crate that houses my beloved sticker books. That'll be a post for another day!
