Plan with Me: Happy Planner and Day Designer

For this week's plan with me in My Happy Planner I decided to give myself a bit of a challenge. I gave myself a $5 budget to go to Joanne's and see what I could find to decorate my planner. Full disclosure: I did  grab 1 washi tape and two gel pens from my stash so I cheated just a little.
Here is a look at the whole week. We don't have a whole lot going on this week so it looks a little bare but I really like the way it turned out. I picked up some carstock pieces, 2 rolls of washi, labels, and a list pad all for $5. Joann's has a small section of scrapbooking stuff where most of the items are $1 but range to about $3 so I would compare it to like the stuff you find in the Target dollar section. The thin gold washi I used is from my stash. It is actually the size of the other two washies I used but I stuck some on my paper trimmer to make it skinnier to cover up the MDN sections.
Here is a closer look at the first half of the week.

For my Day Designer I have a shabby chic theme going. Most of the washi I got from Hobby Lobby or Michael's with the exception of the pink 'with love' washi came from Wal-mart. The sticker are new one that I picked up at Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago. I hadn't seen them before but they are gorgeous especially considering they are Hobby Lobby's Paper Studio brand.

Sorry if the lighting is too bright. I was having a hard time finding the right balance without it looking too dark. Tomorrow I hope to have a post up about how I organize my stickers. I don't know why it's taken me so long to find the perfect system but I finally figured out a way that keeps my stickers organized and they are much easier to use that way.
