So my husband and I have been Dave Ramsey followers for about 3 years now. Although we haven't been real gazelle intense about it we have adapted some of his principles to our financial plan such as his cash envelope system. Have no idea what I'm talking about you can click HERE to go to his website for more information. So one tool we have been meaning to implement for a while is his debt snowball. Right about the time we were going to start it I found out I was pregnant with Isaiah and we went into stork mode and began saving what money we could for my maternity leave. Now that I am back to work we are ready to start throwing money at our snowball. So what's with the warning lights and sirens? I have budgeted $40 a month for me to spend on myself. I finally decided to bite the bullet and get a scrapbooking subscription from Felicity Jane which is $35 plus shipping so that takes care of my spending money for the month. I may be the one to do the budget but I will admit I am the worst about following it and often end up spending money we should be saving so to help prevent this overspending I am putting together a Stash Busting series to encourage, or rather force, myself to use up the supplies in my stash. I am allowed to buy the basics such as adhesive and blades for my paper trimmer but that is it. If you're anything like me you have so many beautiful papers and embellishments that are just waiting for their turn in your scrappy line up. So follow along with me as I share some tips for using up your existing scrapbooking supplies.
