Best laid plans...
Do you ever have great aspirations and then they just don't pan out? I feel like that has been the story of my life with my YouTube/blogging community. So right before Christmas my camera that I used for filming broke. I got a really nice new one for Christmas and was excited to get filming again. Well, it seems my new camera is too fancy for my computer. When I try to upload a video onto my camera it is super choppy. So, I felt like if I couldn't film I'd abandon my blog too. Well, realizing that was a little childish on my part here I am attempting to get it going again.
So what's been going on in the last 2 and a half months? The biggest change is my beautiful baby boy was born December 14th. He has been such a joyous addition to our family. I went back to work earlier this week and I am thankful that we are blessed enough that I only have to work a few nights and during the weekends. The big kids (my 4 and 3 year old) have adjusted to having a new baby brother and they adore him as much as we do.
As far as anything crafty is concerned I have been on FIRE! At the beginning of the month I put together a little kit for myself and put forth a challenge to myself to just use those supplies. I have added to it here and there with some stickers and a few alpha sets but other than that I have managed to stick with it. In just the last month I have completed 8 layouts, ranging from 6x12 to full 12x12 which I haven't done in about 10 years! I have also used this DIY kit to make a scrapbook in a traveler's notebook insert. That is probably my newest obsession! I will be doing a separate Kill a Kit post that shows all I made and what it left of my kit as well as a post about my insert scrapbooks. Other upcoming posts will include how to catch up on Project Life when you get behind, meal plans and grocery hauls, cleaning routines, daily routines, organizing and cleaning tips...needless to say I am feeling a little ambitious, at least for the moment!
My true passion is to return to filming and I am hoping that we can get something figured out with my camera and computer. If you are new to my blog I thank you for stopping by and if you are my family that felt obligated because of that relationship to read my blog I thank you even more for your support!
